Privacy Policy

PSR Tech Blog does not use reader accounts, advertising, or cross-site tracking. This page explains the limited data that is processed and user rights regarding it.

Last updated: October 01, 2026

Who is responsible

The controller of any personal data described here is PSR, at Praia de Botafogo, 370, 1st and 2nd floors, Botafogo — Rio de Janeiro/RJ, 22250-040, Brazil. For privacy matters, including anything on this page, write to rd@psr-inc.com.

What the site collects

Reading the blog requires no account and no sign-up, and the site sets no cookies. The data handled is technical and minimal:

  • Server logs. The hosting infrastructure logs basic request data (such as IP address, time, and browser type). These logs exist solely to keep the site secure and to investigate technical faults.
  • Audience measurement. A web analytics service is used to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint one's device, and cannot track a user across other sites. It reports aggregated totals only (like country and device type), so there is no individual identification. These monthly counts are exported and kept by PSR.
  • Theme preference. User's light or dark theme choice is saved locally on each device. This value is never transmitted to a server.

Legal basis

Under the Brazilian LGPD and the European GDPR, server logs and aggregate analytics processing is based on legitimate interest (LGPD Art. 7, IX; GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) to maintain site security and understand overall traffic. Any direct communication sent by a user to PSR is processed based on the user's consent (LGPD Art. 7, I; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

Data sharing

Data sharing is limited exclusively to the infrastructure providers hosting the site. No data is provided to advertising networks or data brokers.

How long it is kept

Server logs are deleted after 30 days and audience counts may be kept indefinitely. Direct communications sent to PSR may be kept indefinitely, or for the minimum period required by law.

User rights

Under the LGPD and GDPR, users have the right to confirm data processing, access, correct, anonymize, block or delete unnecessary data, request portability, know with whom data is shared, and withdraw consent. Note that the site keeps no accounts and builds no profiles, so nothing links a page view to an individual by name. In practice, these rights apply primarily to direct communications sent to PSR.

To exercise these rights, email rd@psr-inc.com. Usually within five business days.
